                         Revision 0 - 30 Aug 1999

This file documents any problems with using Slayer with other software and
hardware that is available for RISC OS machines.
_____________________________________________________________________________

* Killer (All known versions)

  When Slayer's chaperone is turned on, Killer mistakenly detects Slayer as
  an icon variant, and tries to kill it. Slayer retaliates, and kills
  Killer. The general rule is not to run both products at the same time.
  Because of various other devious things that both systems do, they may
  be other problems. Basically, choose which you want to use, and stick to
  it; mixing and matching will only lead to tears.

* VZap (All known versions)

  Slayer and VZap's methods of trapping clicks on filing system icons clash.
  When one finishes scanning a device trapped in this way, the other does
  one, and then the other other does etc... leading to unpleasant loops.
  See above comment.

* Deletion trappers

  The result of any software that traps deletes, and moves files away safely
  so you can undelete them is unknown. Obviously, if they do their job
  properly, they will also backup viruses. Any company/author who writes
  software to do such things is urged to contact us at the address in the FAQ
  with details on how to temporarily disable their system while a virus is
  removed.
